Application & Admission

If you plan to study one or two semesters at CU and if you are a so-calles non-degree-seeking student, you will received your letter of admission directyl from the International Office.
Students of the Master Program "International Relations" and the double-degree programs should contact their respective coordinators in the faculty.

Application deadline: 30 May (for the fall semester and academic year) &  30 November (for the spring semester)

Housing Reservation

The International Relations Office Eichstaett offers to all program students a free housing service and arranges furnished accommodation close to the campus  - either in private flat-shares, private apartments or residences. Our tutors carefully look at each room/ apartment and take care that your accommodation meets your expectations. If you want to have this service, please complete the housing form and send it to the International Relations Office.

Please note that the university charges a service deposit of € 250.00 per student. This amount has nothing to do with the deposit you will have to pay when signing the rent agreement (the amount is approximately 2 x monthly rent).

Pre-semester Language Program/ Orientation Program

Before the lectures start the International Office offers a two- or three-week pre-semester language and orientation program. This program includes intensive German language classes, excursions and helps students to register at the university and the local authorities. Students who successfully attend the language program will receive a certificate and ECTS credits.

Prerequisites/ language requirements: a knowledge of German of at least "A 1". Students who do not score this level in the entrance test, cannot be admitted to the program.
